Brandywine Airport Opens New Runway/Taxiway Infrastructure

NBAC Board of Directors meets with Senator Dinniman after the opening ceremony

On Saturday, June 24th we had the honor of having our local State Senator Dinniman attend the opening dedication and ceremonies for our newly-completed taxiway extension. A large crowd came to attend the event and watch the dedication of the first capital improvement made in over 25 years to the Brandywine Airport runways (N99) in West Chester, PA.

The Senator, along with local township officials including Rob Betz from the Bureau of Aviation in Harrisburg, all joined to meet with the Airport officials and hear from each other about the plans for the townships we serve and the crucial role Brandywine Airport will play in those efforts.

Considered by those individuals active in the project as a model for this type of undertaking, this collaboration between local, state, federal government agencies and private concerns, provides a clear road map for efficiently coordinated efforts between multiple groups to produce long-lasting local and regional economic benefits.
